Calculator measurements

The numbers you enter in the tile calculator are processed by JavaScript in your own browser. The calculator does not upload those measurements to TILE / CALC. If you choose “Copy results,” your browser copies the estimate to your clipboard.

Site requests

Your browser requests the site files from Cloudflare, our hosting provider. That request is separate from the measurements you enter into the calculator. Cloudflare may process information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address and browser request details. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its data practices.

Cookies and browser storage

The calculator does not save your measurements. We store your analytics choice in your browser so we can remember it across visits. Google Analytics loads only after you select “Allow analytics.” You can change that choice using “Analytics choices” in the footer. Declining analytics does not affect the calculator. Cloudflare supplies an email-protection script on the Contact page to display the contact address.

Optional Google Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page views and site interactions. Google may process browser and device information, page addresses, approximate location and analytics cookie identifiers. We do not send the calculator measurements as analytics events, and we do not enable advertising personalization. We remove query strings and fragments from the page address sent by our initial analytics configuration. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services and see Google’s privacy policy.

Advertising

This version of the site does not load third-party advertising. We plan to add third-party ads in the future. Third-party ad providers may then place or read cookies, use web beacons or similar technologies, and process IP addresses and browser information to deliver, measure, or personalize ads. Before enabling ads, we will identify the providers on this page, link to their privacy policies and available advertising choices, and add any consent controls required for the chosen service.

Email contact

If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message. We receive the sender address and any information you choose to include so we can respond. Calculator inputs are not attached automatically; you decide what to share.

External links

The calculator links to an external source for unit definitions. If you follow that link, the destination site's privacy practices apply.
